What to do next
Please don’t hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about the services I’m offering.
☆ Word document
Email me the manuscript, as a Word document written in English to email@example.com.
☆ Spelling preference
Let me know your preference for British or American English spelling/grammar, as I am well versed in both.
Let me know if you have a deadline for receiving the manuscript back.
I’ll let you know straight away when I can get it back to you, and will make sure I allow you time to assess and take in my suggestions before the deadline.
If there is no particular hurry, let me know that too, so I can prioritise my work - but I’ll always try to get it back to you within a few days of receiving it.
☆ Advance notice
If you know in advance approximately when the paper will be ready (often the case with PhD theses), it would be very helpful if you can give me some warning of when you anticipate being able to send it, since these longer jobs benefit from time planning at my end.
Please also include the name, full postal address and email address of the person to whom the invoice should be sent.
